OPERATIONS MANAGER

As a manager you are a highly experienced hospitality industry professional and you have at least four years experience of hospitality management in the Nordic market. You are especially strong in operations and you have skills to develop all departments in order to win the market. You are fluent in Swedish and English and as a performer you are not afraid of challenges. In this position you are a part of the management team of the Comfort Hotel Malmö. Your closest team consists of highly professional Head of Departments. Perhaps your future is to be a GM ?

What makes you the best candidate?
Your primary duty is to assume responsibility for all operations in Comfort Hotel Malmö
This includes responsibility for:
• Breakfast
• Conference, Meeting & Events
• Barception F&B (BAR+RECEPTION)
• Security, Maintenance, Some key Guest Relations, IT responsibility at hotel level
• Chain concepts
The position involves:
• Staff responsibility for the above departments, which involves team members satisfaction, training and further development of staff. Recruitment’s and making sure that the right tools are available to achieve the defined KPI goals.
• Working continuously to update and develop concepts within the area of responsibility, adapted for the hotel’s target groups.
• Organizing operations in the departments to create an unforgettable experience for the hotel’s guests
• Involvement in preparing the budget, weekly forecasting
• Responsibility for performance in all Hotel’s departments - including sales, revenue, operational efficiency, costs, and result.
• Responsibility for ensuring a high level of employe, service and guest satisfaction
We are looking for You who have experience as a hotel/or Reception manager, F&B Manager and maybe a strong F&B background, with experience from meeting and conferences, banquets or kitchens will also be heavily emphasized.
It is a great advantage if you have an understanding of or knowledge of the systems Exflow / PMI / TimePlan / Cenium m.f.
The position involves work during the day, but work on both evenings and weekends will occur. Just like it normally is when working in a hotel.
