Operations manager for Battery automation and Datacenter BMS projects

You will setup the specific projects within the segment but with the general support of a large existing project organization. A dedicated team in sales, technical sales support and project management is the starting point and project resources must be built per project.
As operations manager you should oversee all aspects related to operations of these projects and including the full scope of Operations, typically Project Management & Control, Project Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Logistic, HSE and Contract. And at the same time ensure strict adherence within the operations to the policies and required standards of health, safety, and integrity.
You will be an important part of Business Line Growth Industries and collaborate with both the local organization but mainly with the Business Units Battery Manufacturing and Data center.
Your responsibilities
Build readiness in the team for coming projects
Define project setup and governance together with sales
Populate the projects with both local and global resources
Follow-up of project results and compliance to ABB policies
General line and hosting management
Local resource buildup in line with the market pickup

Your background
This is a senior management position requiring knowledge and experience about complex industry projects in the process- and manufacturing market
Knowledge in any of the areas automation, electrification, and digitalization
Experience in organization and business development
Good understanding of contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial and legal terms
Fluent English is required, Swedish preferred
Other languages like German, Italian or French are meritorious
