The Operations Manager main task is to manage and continuously develop all supply chain related topics at the Market Unit Sweden. This includes warehousing, distribution, order handling- and customer service. For warehousing and distribution, the main task is to manage and review all contractual agreements. For order handling and customer service group, the main task is first to build and then maintain and develop the team as well as all necessary processes. The Operations Manager will be part of the Management Team of the Market Unit Sweden.

Main Accountabilities
• Manage and continuously optimize all agreements with external distributors, as well as internal Service Level Agreements with logistics department at the plant in Brunna and Uppsala
• Analyse and report internal and external distributors key performance indicators and take appropriate action when not in line with expectations
• Negotiate supply chain agreement with internal and external suppliers
• Responsible for planning all supply chain related costs for the forecasting and budgeting exercises and monitor development of costs vs plan on a monthly basis
• Ensure compliance to all GDP requirements from the Medicines Product Agency, including responsibility for all applicable SOPs
• Responsible for setting up and manage the order handling and customer service team. This includes to outline and implement all necessary processes and procedures, as well as implementing and monitoring of key performance indicators

Experience and Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience within Supply Chain, e.g. warehouse management and/or distribution management including personnel responsibility
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Logistics or similar
• Experienced in SAP P11 (mainly Material Master), P20 (Prod.syst Business Warehouse) and P25 (APO; Advanced Planning Optimization) an advantage but not mandatory
• Good experience in Microsoft excel
• Experience/knowledge of basic finance
• Be an excellent leader and motivator for all personnel within the Supply Chain department
• Fluent in Swedish and English (oral and written)
• Valid driver’s license for vehicles class B (B-körkort)

The position is initially a temporary employment with a view to become permanent employment if both parts agree after 6 months. The position is placed in Uppsala.
