Do you want to take part in an exciting expansion journey at H&M? Distribution center in Eskilstuna is now recruiting to meet our future needs. We are expanding and rebuilding our existing premises in Svista to be a distribution center from 2022 not only for Sweden's stores, but also for Norway's and Iceland's markets. This means that we will supply about 230 stores and our warehouse area will in May 2022 be 40,000 square meters.


Our Distribution Center in Eskilstuna consists of more than 350 committed and motivated H&M colleagues who share our values and take responsibility for the logistics operations and distribution of fashion items for our retail customers across Sweden, Norway, and Iceland.

We have an exciting opportunity, due to our continued expansion, for an Operations Manager, to join our team at DC in Eskilstuna. Do you want to be a part of logistics and to always put the customer first by creating a quality retail shopping delivery? Do you have a genuine interest in reaching great results through teams and people? If so, then you might be the person we are looking for!
As an Inbound or Outbound Operations Manager, you lead efficient inbound or outbound operations, ensure service levels and compliance. You will also work strategically and drive continuous improvements in line with set targets for service, efficiency and cost.
You work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues. You act in line with our Values and Leadership Expectations.




Kravspecifikation

To be successful in this role, we believe that you have the following qualities/competencies:
Solid leadership experience, a firm ”customer first” mindset and strong strategic abilities
Basic understanding of end-to-end DC processes and garment flow is a plus, but not a must
Knowledge in operational logistics standards is a plus, but not a must
Holistic view to look at the bigger perspective with a visionary approach
Ability to encourage collaboration, co-creation and people development by empowering others
Agile mindset with a positive attitude to change and meaningful growth
Inclusive & empathetic towards others whilst encouraging diversity
Self awareness, understanding your impact on others and contribution to the whole group
You are fluent in English and Swedish with strong communication and presentation skills.

Ytterligare information


This is a full-time position starting with a probationary period of 6 months. The location is based in Eskilstuna and is part of the Logistic Region North Europe. As an Operations Manager, you report directly to the DC Manager. Start date during autumn 2021 or by agreement.
