Operations Manager Vika, for Dellner

Dellner is the global leader in Train Connection Systems and service all the major car builders as well as operators around the globe. The head office is located in Vika Falun, Sweden. Dellner has manufacturing units in Poland, UK and sales and service organizations in 12 countries. Group turnover of 80 MEUR and approximately 400 employees.

We are looking for a resource to strengthen our global operation team. The position is placed in Vika and you report to our Global Operation Manager.

Details about the job
The main purpose of the job is to manage the function for the Operation team in Vika wich includes daily Production planning, Final assembly, Spare parts, Repairs and Overhaul. Travels both domestic and abroad may be required to fulfil business needs.

Your responsibilities:
- Manage and develop department employees so they are motivated and well trained in order to carry out their responsibilities and required standards.

- Develop and implement existing and new processes, methods and tools to achieve a lean, safe and effective Assembly Operation.

- Lead the daily WMS meetings and secure capacity planning both short and long term.

- Develop, manage and report KPI?s and implement/manage WCA / 5S

- Participate in project meetings and customer audits.

- Expense budgeting, delivery performance and invoicing from the Vika factory.

- The successful candidate will have the following profile

Job experience:
- Minimum of 3 years education within the area of responsibility.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience within mechanical production.
´- High skills in english, both verbally and in writing.
- ISO 9001/14001, IRIS is a merit.
- Experience from ERP system (Movex is a merit) and MS Office

Personal skills:
- Communicative leader with strong people and leadership skills in order to train and build a strong team.
- Energy to operate continuous improvements to meet business objectives and demands.
- Team oriented with good interpersonal skills and cooperation with colleagues, other departments and subsidiaries.
- Well organized and structured, higly motivated for the job and and with an open attitude.
