For Seco Tools, we’re now looking for an inspiring Operations Planning Manager to take full ownership of our supply planning process – bringing our Supply Chain Operations into the future!
Your mission
As Operations Planning Manager, you have a key role developing our supply chain organization, and all parts included in this scope. Your overall responsibility covers the operational work of our end to end supply chain; making sure we’re producing the right products in the right amount, as well as ensuring stability and transparency in each stage of our process. You work in close collaboration with different production units in order to develop this, and you aim to create change and make things happen in our global and sometimes complex setting.
By ensuring supply plan fulfillment and supporting in optimizing the balance between flexibility and cost in production, you work towards setting a global and reliable supply planning footprint. An important part in this is to contribute and execute the strategical and tactical direction within the area of Supply Chain Management, as well as influence and negotiate with other parts of the business in order to support, implement and maintain center led logistics recommendations and decisions. You’re also a strong contributor within our S&OP process and drive improvements related to processes, systems and ways of working; making sure every production unit has a trustworthy capacity plan (0-24 months) for all product areas within Seco.
In this position, you lead and inspire a small team, and you make sure we have the right competences for advancement. The preferred location is at our headquarters in Fagersta, and some travel is a natural part of your job.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a degree within relevant field, such as Business Management or Logistics, and several years’ experience from leading and managing diverse teams. Your background is formed within Supply Chain Management, and you have solid knowledge of the end to end supply chain; supply planning, S&OP and how it affects financial targets. You’re a skilled Excel and PowerPoint user, and knowledge of ERP systems also comes in handy. Since we act both locally in Sweden and globally, you need fluent skills in English and Swedish.
