We are looking for a driven Operations Readiness to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent Program team based in Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be a key player in ramping up and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.
About the role
As the Operations Readiness in CAM, you will represent the interests of the Operations & Maintenance team in the CAM Programs’ capital project(s). The incumbent for the role is a key member of the project delivery team, accountable to ensure the safe and fit for purpose design for operations of the facility. The role drives the requirements for the CAM Business Unit to meet the goal of continuous improvement of operations, and the corresponding Operational Expenditure (OPEX) targets. The position is tasked with the development of the Operations Readiness deliverables throughout the project life cycle, culminating in the smooth and timely handover of the project to the operations organization.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Own and drive the operational readiness deliverables throughout the project life cycle, starting during the early development phase of the project(s) through to handover into long term operations and project close out.
Early phase operational philosophy & strategy setting, including input into business cases.
Engineering Phase OR deliverable development, ensuring O&M requirements are built into project decision making, participating in & coordinating O&M inputs into the projects, at design reviews, HAZID’s, HAZOP’s and other operational risk assessments.
Execute phase O&M assurance on behalf of the receiving organisation. Co-ordinating operations and maintenance participation during commissioning. Planning and executing operations & maintenance organisation training and competence development to operate the facility. Ensuring that all required deliverables are in place in time to start-up of the facility.
Generate the overall operational readiness plan for the assigned facilities, as part of the project maturation process.
Execute the operational readiness plan throughout the project lifecycle, having in place the personnel resources, processes and tools to support the project and then the operating facility.
Communicate and coordinate with the existing Operations and Maintenance organisations to bring best practice and operational experience to bear in the project and to represent the O&M teams as their “champion” in the projects.
Develop understanding of O&M requirements within the CAM programs organisation ensuring trust in delivery to the O&M team(s)
Ensure that all necessary deliverables are completed to ensure a safe and timely acceptance of the facility at handover, to allow a smooth and as planned ramp up of the completed plant.

Skills & Requirements
Qualifications/education/experience
Minimum 10 years industry experience, of which at least 5 years of relevant Operations & Maintenance experience with hands-on project leadership experience in demanding environment (such as large CAPEX projects, complex development projects etc.)
Competence in development of Operations Philosophies and strategies and operationalising them in the real world
Building O&M organisations and competency in a world class operating environment, and a keen knowledge of what to takes to build a team ready to operate a new factory.
Engineering degree (B.Sc. / M.Sc. or similar) or similar is required
Fluency in English
Experience working in multi-cultural environment
Specific Skills/Abilities
Track record in problem solving, i.e. strong analytical skill required
Strong coordination, communication and influencing skills; ability to communicate between engineering and operations teams in a collaborative way
Ability to build solid and trusting relationships with stakeholders Commercial and contract skills
Fluency in other languages (especially Swedish) is a bonus
