About the job
As the Operations Superintendent you are responsible for the daily operations and performance of both the site in Boden and its team members and external maintenance support teams. The role will be both technical and supervisory. It is your responsibility and main task to make sure that the operations are running smoothly.
You will coordinate and plan the work of the technicians working on the site, these will report their work to you. You will also be ensuring the work environment on the site.
Work tasks include, for example:
• Installation and configuration of processing equipment
• Daily reviews of operations and equipment performance to determine deviation from KPI’s
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues on equipment and networks
• Use of diagnostics/monitoring apps
• General maintenance
• Respond to call outs
About you
As the Operations Superintendent we believe that you have a technical background, ideally in electrical and IT/computing. You have experience working with IT networks and computing equipment.
You are autonomous, self-motivated, and proactive. You take initiative and have no problem identifying what needs to be done and when. As your workplace will be mainly outdoors, you have no problem working in challenging weather conditions.
You are structured and organised – both when it comes to planning and executing your own work as well as planning and leading others.
