Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Small series within Sales and Marketing is a new function to increase our speed and focus on the e-Mobility value stream. We are aiming for a value stream with an entrepreneurial “company mindset” with end-to-end responsibility and clear accountability for the e-Mobility business. We believe in partnerships with key stakeholders in the eco-system to learn how we can create value and new business.
Small series has the mission to accelerate and explore e-Mobility business. The function create and sell proof of concept solutions in segments or applications where no mature solution exist yet. We reduce risk and anxiety related to new technology of customers and our own organization by including them in the process, taking full responsibility for profit and loss but also by supporting uptime for the customer during the contract period.
We are now looking for a specialist to the team Support Operations within Small Series. You will support the customer from deployment to running operation of these Small series solutions and ensure that they continuously deliver value to our customers.
Work description
Your responsibility starts with preparing deployment of the solutions and ends when we take the solution of the market. Your responsibility is to ensure that our solution continuous deliver value to the customer. You will be the link between factory, the selected dealer and the customer. Examples of tasks included in this role
Deploy
• Coordinate and plan everything needed for customer operations
• Contact with Body builders and 3rd parties
• Make sure there are needed documentation for registration at the designated market
• Prepare and train selected dealers to deliver, repair and do maintenance of the vehicles
Operate
• Supporting customer operation over the life cycle for example with Uptime, R&M and spare parts
• Be an expert for trouble shooting and act as a flying doctor for complicated problems
• Learn - Follow up business, performance and usage over life cycle
Your profile
You are service minded and skilled in building relations. You are a practical problem solver and motivated by solving complicated tasks. You have easy to interact with others but are comfortable with working independently. You have a technical university degree and several years of experience from trouble shooting on heavy vehicles.
We also want you to have very good understanding of vehicle software and electronics. Basic skills in batteries and power electronics are desired. You need to be comfortable with presenting and facilitating larger groups in English (written and orally).
This position require travels. Driving licence for trucks is needed.
