What you will do
At Johnson Controls Global Marine & Offshore Service, we now have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team in Norrköping, Sweden as our new Team Leader of field operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and leading our Service Engineers who are specialized in helping our Cruise Customers on yards with installations & commissioning and on-board sailing Cruise ships with maintenance, troubleshooting and repair/upgrade of chillers and control systems.
Johnson Controls Global Marine & Offshore Service is specialized in supplying our customers with innovative service-, retrofit- and parts solutions on a global scale. How you will do it
Our Global Marine & Offshore Service business is undertaking an exciting continuous transformation as we move towards developing a more agile, digital and sustainable organization, and we hope that you can contribute to this journey with a curious, dynamic and future-focused mindset and a desire to understand our customers’ needs – both now and in the future.
On a daily basis, you supervise and manage your team of approximately 13 Service Engineers. You manage the labor planning in close dialogue with the sales- and project teams. You set challenging individual targets and lead towards them. You create prerequisites for individuals to develop and ensures there is redundancy in critical competencies.
You are an ambassador for safety and you will help us develop our EHS policy, instructions and checklists as well as ensure that all Service Engineers puts Safety First.
On a strategic level, you will help us to adopt new technologies and methods, such as remote guidance applying augmented reality tools and remote services on connected equipment.
Finally, you will build and maintain a network of stakeholders – incl. Operations Team leaders in other Global Marine & Offshore Service branches, Project managers, Technicians and Leadership - as well as solicit support from and communicate with the broader Johnson Controls organization to promote customer satisfaction while respecting Johnson Controls strategies, processes and tools.
Your responsibilities in this role include:
Supervising and managing our Service Engineers daily
Manage the labor planning for projects and service
Set challenging targets and lead towards them
Create prerequisites for individual development and maintain redundancy in critical competences
Administrate the monthly reporting, travel expense reports, time sheets etc.
You are part of the management team for Service in Norrköping
Be an ambassador for Environment, Health and Safety
Help us adopt new technologies and methodologies
Build and maintain a network of stakeholders

Experience in planning and CRM software (Visual Planning, iScala and Salesforce)
Preferred
Knowledge and experience within the Marine HVAC
Experience of leading groups and developing employees and working methods
Previous sales, project management and/or Account Management experience
