Who we are?
Program Planning is part of Operations Planning within Supply Chain Management. The main deliverable for the team is to deliver the Global Master Production Schedule (MPS), for all Volvo Car Group manufacturing plants. We do this monthly and ensure our plan is considering both the demand and the available capacity. To make this happen cross functional collaboration with stakeholders in the Order to Delivery process is key.

You will be part of a dedicated and competent team with whom you will be able to exchange knowledge around the new Order to Delivery process and in particularly the new Production Program Planning Process.
We are on a change journey preparing for the future and in the role as Operations Volume Planner you will be part of implementing new IT systems tools, new processes, and ways of working that are in pipeline.
The position gives you a great opportunity to develop a broad network within Volvo Car Group as the work requires close collaboration both internally and with our markets/regions. The constantly changing environment in this business-critical operational role brings a lot of opportunities to grow as a professional and contribute to the company success.
What will you do?
You will work in the monthly program process and continuously collaborate with key stakeholders to align on production volumes/mix/capacities to support sales plan and stock targets for the planning horizon.
Analyze, propose, and implement scenarios within the monthly program process in a controlled way, as well as drive and implement continuous improvement work within the area of Production Program Planning
Timely collation of the production volume request including detailed mix on Engines and sales versions from the Markets.
Set up & facilitate meetings on latest forecasted mix and development, maintenance, and management of color, upholstery, and option forecasts for assigned Markets.
You handle unplanned events through continuously alignment and optimization towards new decisions and pre-requisites to ensure the MPS is both buildable and sellable and delivered on time.
You and your skills
You have experience and good understanding of the Sales and Production Planning areas and Order to Delivery, from a Commercial as well as an Industrial Business perspective.
You have experience from working with Planning in a multi-cultural environment and have experience in Data Collection from multiple sources, Data Analysis and Verification.
You have B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree, which can be in different areas. You are fluent in English, spoken and written. It’s an asset if you master our current planning system, Hercules, as well as Knowledge of Product Structure & Offer.

You are analytical and comfortable working with numbers. You are strong with your interpersonal skills, such as building relationship and communicate clearly and effective.
You are a team player with a proactive mindset and a problem-solving approach. Your strong business acumen helps you to have a holistic view and connect the dots to come up with good solutions and ideas. You have a self-governed drive to initiate tasks and make sure things get done in a timely manner.
You possess the ability to deal with uncertainty and continuously manage new and often contradictive prerequisites. It does not bother you to, from time to time take on a rocky road that can require some sharp twists and turns to reach the goal.
