About this opportunity
We provide the SW platform for radio products also known as the auxiliary control system (XCS) and is a Linux based control system.
We can offer a rich number of opportunities in an everyday learning, creative and exciting atmosphere where Kista, Stockholm, is our base but the world is our arena. We belong to PDU Radio and have a close corporation with development of Radio products in Ottawa, Beijing, Nanjing, Chengdu and Zagreb.
We are now looking for an Operative Product Owner (OPO) for the auxiliary control system (XCS) for radio. In your role you will be a part of the global XCS OPO function. You will be responsible to make sure that the backlog for your team is always up to date and prioritized. It means also to cooperate with Strategic Product Management, HW design, and Project Management and SW teams and OPOs globally on different sites. You shall be able to describe the value to be delivered to the team and work together to refine the backlog into concrete stories with a clear definition of what should be done. In the role you are expected to step forward, taking responsibility and actively driving solutions to issues as well as taking part in all aspects of the OPO role.

What you will do
Is the interface for adding and prioritizing all types of backlog items.
Manage and distribute requirement requests globally within XCS
Maintain, prioritize and visualize a long-term Requirement Area backlog including all development phases and dependencies
XCS global main OPO contact
Visualize XCS future plans and capabilities
Contribute to XCS strategic plans


You will bring
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or Wireless Communication or equivalent.
At least 5 years proven ability in product development with a good understanding of systemization, design, and verification.
Domain experience: Linux and SW close to HW is valuable.
Willingness to communicate, share information and help others.
Leadership skills in line with Ericsson's core values.
Good understanding of Lean and Agile ways of working.
A genuine interest in people and good presentation skills.
Ability to work across organizational boundaries.
Ability to work with highly competent colleagues
A large degree of flexibility and willingness to address different tasks.
Business focus with high accountability to deliver results.
Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge
