Packet core (part of Business Area Cloud Software & Services, BCSS) develop and deliver packet core solution for programmable 4G and 5G networks for both Telecom Operator and Industries/Enterprises. We are currently looking for an Operational Product Owner (OPO) in Cloud Native area to deliver Packet Core Controller (PCC) and Packet Core Gateway (PCG) to meet our new demands for flexible, fast, scalable, innovative 5G-networks, including sub-areas security & privacy, networking, deployment/servicability, storage, characteristics, geo redundancy, life cycle management & high availability.
The OPO is responsible for the development of the product from a business and customer perspective within the PDU. The OPO role is to translate business value into product features that are developed by cross-functional teams (XFTs).

Early customer and stakeholder interaction are a key element in our development process. We rely on team collective responsibility to complete all tasks according to a prioritized backlog.

Responsibilities & Tasks

Prioritize the feature backlog and make sure it is visible, and transparent.
Secure that the team knows what we do and why we do it to ensure high team motivation
Following the feature from idea to deployment in the customer network.
Initiate Feature Analysis/Quick Study involving System Managers within the domain and verify that the solution has the right scope fit for the purpose.
Explain the Feature value to stake holders e.g. value slides
Communicate, coordinate and align with both internal and external stakeholders
Develop business and technical understanding within the domain
Discover value, improvements, technical depths and make adoptions together with XFT for placement in Product Backlog
Synchronize with other OPOs / APOs (Area Product Owners)/SPOs (Strategic Product Owners)
Ensure that the solutions designed by XFT are cost efficient


Qualifications:

High business understanding.
Good understanding of the domain/area.
Good communication skills. (Be able to communicate with stakeholders, operators and customers at different levels).
Team player and good people skills.
Be able to take decisions.
3-5 years’ experience as an OPO/APO or similar.
Drive commitments with high energy
Experience working according to Lean and Agile way of working
