We are now searching for an Opto-Engineer to join our HW team in Stockholm
Tasks:
Contribute as Optical Engineer in various development projects.
Characterize optical performance of pluggable transceivers and passive- or active filters.
Optical module product qualification
Product maintenance and failure analysis
Work with advanced optical technologies like xQAM, Coherent Systems, ROADMs, Raman/EDFA- amplifiers.
Prepare optical specification, test plans, and test reports with clarity and on a detailed level.
Work closely with multiple optical module vendors.
Support your colleagues and share knowledge with them.
Be part of cross functional product development teams involving software, electronics, mechanics and test.

Expected Experience and Qualifications:
M.Sc. in Physics, Telecommunication, or similar, with a few years of industry experience.
Fundamental understanding of fiber optics for telecommunications. Component level and/or on system level.
Experience from work in HW/Opto laboratory with test instruments like BERT, OSA, High speed oscilloscopes.
Experience from SW development for lab application using Python, Matlab or similar
Experience of HW development for optical communications.
The candidate shall be flexible, innovative and driven.
The candidate shall be structured and thorough.
Working proficiency in both verbal and written English is mandatory.
