In Linköping, we’re developing our camera systems. As a site, our responsibilities range from electronics and optics to software and vehicle testing. All vision development teams are working cross-functionally based on agile principles.

What you'll do?
You will be responsible for evaluation of optics within the camera- and vision systems. In your role, you will have a broad contact area with colleagues within different disciplines and with external suppliers. You will be part of a tight team where everyone helps each other and contributes to the daily work in ongoing projects.

Your daily tasks will consist of specifying, setting up, performing, measure and analyzing tests to ensure optics performance for our CMOS cameras. You will be expected to drive and transact studies to find improvements in processes, methods and products/systems.

As an optics evaluation engineer you will be a part of the support team towards industrialization. You will also be a part in the development of methodology and processes within the department.

We believe that you have competence and experience in:

- Physics and optics, imaging systems and optical measuring techniques
- Good knowledge in MATLAB, preferably including Image Processing Toolbox
- Experience of automotive industry is meritorious
- Good skills in English, both spoken and written.


Education:
- Master Degree within Engineering including optics or equivalent work experience

Your first months at Veoneer:
