Order Fulfillment Specialist & Materials Control

Role Summary/Purpose:

We are seeking an person to join the Supply Chain team in the role of Order Fulfillment Specialist and Material Control Coordinator. In this dual role you will play a key role in shipment management, process and documentation as well as working closely with management and good receiving to coordinate warehouse and inventory projects.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Order Fulfillment component of this position will manage all kinds of shipments, processes and documentation for incoming and outgoing orders including:

Ensuring that internal and external customer?s needs are met and that company policy, international trade compliance and other regulations are adhered to.
Coordinating and communicating shipment delivery requirements with freight forwarders and customers
Ensuring all processes and documentation are in accordance with GEHC Compliance requirements
Completing all required documentation
Primary contact for global affiliates in reference to the logistics process
Work locally and globally within cross-functional teams to improve and increase transparency and quality of information
Lead projects to develop processes and improve administration

As Material Control Coordinator you will work closely with goods receivables to:

manage incoming materials
lead warehouse and inventory projects to improve material handling
support management to ensure high quality from a financial and ERP-system perspective

Perform cycle counts and physical inventory per schedule
Help reconcile inventory discrepancies, solve and report discrepancies to Supervisor
Comply with EHS; Quality System regulations and policies
Read and follow work instructions and bills of materials

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor?s Degree or High School Diploma/GED and export operations experience, or order management of freight forwarder operations experience
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment
Excellent interpersonal skills
Demonstrate ability to read, write and speak in both Swedish and English
Ability to consistently lift
Ability to utilize automatic lifting equipment
EU work permit

Desired Characteristics:

Bachelor?s Degree in Logistics, Materials or Supply Chain Management
Some years? experience in operational logistics, import/export and/or customs expertise
Solid communication and analytical skills, including experience with communicating with others from different countries and cultures
Demonstrate ability to read, write and speak German and French advantageous
Hazardous goods license/experience
ITC knowledge/experience
Pyramid and/or Oracle order management experience
Basic knowledge of quality and inventory control
Truck and crane licenses
