The Regional Distribution Center (RDC) Order Management Specialist is the first point of contact for our customer operations teams throughout the Northern European region. Acting as a back-office specialist, your mission is to make sure the RDC order flow is seamless and to identify and resolve possible issues with orders from our Local Sales Organizations.
Coordinating with the Local Customer Operations teams, you will have a key role in assuring the correctness and completeness of booked orders, and in overlooking speed and quality in deliveries to our ABB Electrifications customers in the region.
Reporting to the Northern Europe Customer Operations Manager and using your customer service skills and knowledge, you will aid all local support teams connected to the RDC.


Your responsibilities
Deliver effective solutions to customers with order-related queries by coordinating with other RDC functions to resolve the issue.
Proactively monitor the status of orders, deliveries, and invoicing processes.
Be accountable for clear, continuous and complete communication to the Local Teams.
Ensure that all customer inquiries are solved in a timely manner and help in any necessary escalation and expediting.
Be the first point of contact for your colleagues in the region into the RDC Organization.
Work together with other RDC functions (Planning & Fulfillment, Logistic) to ensure the best possible service to the connected Local Teams.
Act as a subject matter expert in our ERP system and all other customer support tools and RDC Processes.
Think out of the box, identify improvement areas and new service development possibilities.



Your background
Business Administration Degree or equivalent working experience
At least three years of experience in Customer Operations/Customer Services working with order handling, customer communication, delivery monitoring and follow-up
Experience in Export processes (Custom procedures and documentation handling)
Strong Knowledge of SAP and SalesForce
An agile and proactive approach with a demonstrated ability to take ownership of customer issues
Ability to handle many tasks at the same time with great self-management skills and openness to changes
Good analytical skills and ability to work in a structured way towards hard deadlines
A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
Fluency in English and Swedish, written and spoken alike. Another Nordic language is a strong advantage.
