In this position you will work at our client’s competence center. The center focuses on delivering generic and scalable services and capabilities to numerous different companies. The client provides IT Asset Management services within Digital Ability and Engagement Department.

You will have the chance to grow within the company. Since the client has experienced a large increase of the intake of new services and customers, they need a Junior IT Asset Assistant for the IT Asset Team.

Job Assignments

Within this role there are many relevant job assignments working in the IT Asset Team.

1) You will be responsible of making sure that appropriate documentation is accessible, and you will generate Purchase Request and Contract approvals. Here follows a description of the duties you will have within this area:

• Working with stakeholders to ensure that the contracts can be approved and signed.
• Preparing and collecting requirements/specifications for Purchase Requisitions.
• Creating Purchase Requests based on input from requesters.

2) You are going to follow-up on Purchase Requests and approval flows, as well as communicate with stakeholders. Here follows the duties you will have related to this sector:

• Securing that approvals do not get stuck in the process.
• Working with stakeholders to ensure smooth handling.
• Creating Goods receipts and document purchased licenses in systems.
• Securing that when software is received, the Goods receipts are generated.
• Documentation of all the software purchased in applicable systems.
• Securing that proper licenses administration can be done in supplier portals.

3) You will also be supporting stakeholders in IT procurement related matters. Within your job assignments, you will be:

• Assisting and guiding stakeholders through the Procurement process.
• Supporting stakeholders in the management of other invoice related issues.
• Supporting with renewal reminders at the times when the stakeholder has not requested renewal in time.
• Supporting IT manager and colleagues with other administrational tasks.
• Reporting to the Head of Digital Ability and Engagement via the client’s IT Asset Expert.

Competence

The client wants you to be eager to take on new tasks, learn and grow. As a person you should be organized and structured, and be interested as well as have basic knowledge of IT. It is important that you have good communication, documentation, and presentation skills. In addition, you should be a service-minded person and good at analyzing the big picture at the same time without losing the grip of details.
