Outbound Logistics Transport Operations Expert
The Vehicle Logistics team owns the distribution segments from port of discharge in Europe to delivery at our Micro Car Compounds in 7 European markets including customs activities, Pre-Delivery Inspection at our new Vehicle Processing Centre located at our Regional Car Compound in Belgium, stock maintenance at our Local Car Compounds and multi-modal transportation management to and from. We are a lean team with high focus on supplier performance in order to fulfil our purpose of supporting our stakeholder's targets and objectives. The Lynk & Co business model requires transformation of traditional car distribution and this team is at the forefront of that challenge.
What you'll do
- Manage suppliers through developing KPIs and driving performance using quality and lead time analysis
- Securing a constant and stable pipeline flow throughout Europe
- Maintain correct stock levels at Local Car Compounds focusing on reducing ageing stock
- Manage Local Car Compound stock maintenance
- Managing stakeholder communication for on time deliveries to customers focusing on end to end order to delivery
What you should have
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn are key
- Open to new ideas and flexibility in challenging the norm
- Ability to use and give feedback to facilitate open dialogue and successfully manage difficult conversations
- Experience in multi-modal finished vehicle transportation operations
