It should be easy to shop online, and therefore we offer millions of customers across Europe a hassle-free and fossil-free shipping experience.
We’re fast, both in terms of parcel delivery and when it comes to growing our business. So far our journey has taken us from Sweden to the rest of Scandinavia and parts of continental Europe, but we have no plans on stopping anytime soon. As we continue to expand, the complexity of Instabox grows in parallel. With that in mind, we’re now looking for a Outsourced Operations Manager to help us to govern our journey ahead!
About the role
As Outsourced Operations Manager you will be responsible for sourcing and identifying potential partners for deliveries. You will also be managing our delivery partners, setting framework and managing price and collaboration agreements. This is a relatively new function, meaning you will have a lot of freedom in how to do your work but of course a lot of responsibility in making it happen!
In this role your tasks will include, but not be limited to:
- Lead the development of this function, its responsibilities, strategy and operational collaboration with our sites
- Establish process for all basic functions, adapting the overall guidelines from Global and HQ, but tailoring it to local markets
- Source and identify potential delivery partners across the Nordics, where you manage price and agreement negotiations with all potential partners, aligning with our purchasing, finance and legal departments
- Plan capacity management in conjunction with those partners to meet the daily parcel goals
- Manage a significant P&L to ensure that it delivers income for both our clients and delivery partners
- Plan capacity management with our partners to meet the daily delivery goals
- Participate in resource planning regarding the split of internal vs. external staff and vehicles together with relevant stakeholders
- Ensure a high service delivery standard on our partners, and follow up on any reported issues affecting quality and customer experience
This is a relatively new role in our organisation, and while the work has begun, you will take full ownership in growing and improving this function in our Nordic markets.
Who you are
- A university degree in a relevant field (i.e. Business Administration, Operations, Logistics, etc.)
- Experience of successful work in operations and management, where previous experience from a similar role is of merit
- Experience in a fast paced industry and/or tech company
- Data-driven and analytical
- Detail oriented and very organized
- Passionate about coaching people and providing a great service
- Excellent Swedish and English communication skills (written and spoken), any other Nordic language is of merit
