Överstyrman/Chief Officer Färjetrafiken

Do you want to work on board Ro/Pax ships in nice team of competent colleagues in 2/3 relieving systems?
For one of our Swedish-flagged ships, we are looking for a Chief officer, Swedish speaking and with a Captain´s letter.
At TT-Line the Chief officer is responsible for maintenance in the Deck-department and cargo handling on board. The Chief officer is the supervisor of the deck-crew and handles personnel administration (record keeping, hourly schedule, etc.). The Chief officer is responsible for the safety introduction regarding new personnel on board and the position also involves being the ship's SSO and deputy Captain as well as deputy head of security. The chief officer also has bridge-service and will need to apply for pilot excemption at the Port of Trelleborg.
Qualifications
We hope you can contribute with your energy, are a problem solver who don't really give up. You are alert and attentive and enjoy varying tasks both individually and in teams. You are a good leader of teams and like to see colleagues develop.
You are an experienced Nautical officer and skilled in maneuvering a large ship. You have previously served on board Ro-Ro or Ro Pax ships and are used to loading and unloading during short harbor-breaks at a high pace.
Our company-language is English, so we expect you to have good English skills.  Swedish/Nordic language is a national mandatory requirement and a requirement for serving on a Swedish-flagged ship. We promote internally, why we would also like to see you have basic knowledge of the German language as the pilot excemption-test in Germany is in German.

Health certificate according to STCW Manila
Certificate Basic SafetyTraining, valid 5 years
Certificate Rescue craft and Rescue boats, valid 5 years
Certificate Advanced Firefighting, valid for 5years
Medical First Aid Unlimited
Medical Care valid for 5 years
SSO, unlimited (applies to chief mate, Captain)
CCM, valid 5 years
GOC, valid for 5 years
IMDG, valid for 5 years
Merits are:
Fast Rescue Boat is valid for 5 years
