Ort Sölvesborg Beskrivning av tjänsten Titanx Engine Cooling AB manufactures cooling systems for heavy vehicles and diesel driven generators.Manufacturing takes place in Mjällby, Linköping and Jamestown, NY, USA.The company's head office is in Mjällby.We have a total of 940 employees, with 400 in Mjällby.Turnover is SEK 2 billion and growing.The customers are leading manufacturers of heavy vehicles, buses and diesel driven generators in Europe and the USA.Organisation: The Structural Engineer reports to the Simulation Manager.Area of Activity: The structural engineer plans and performs his own strain-, acceleration- and temperature measurements, FE-analyses and experimental modal analyses.The engineer participates in the methodology development in his/hers field of work.He/she determines the best approach to a structural strength related problem. Responsibility: - Work according to the 5 core strategies, Constant Innovation Charter, TitanX 1000/5000, quality policy, QS9000 and other routines and instructions which apply - To follow the defined strategies of the R&D organization - To design the methodology of his measurements and analyses, based upon the request of the customer - To ensure the quality of his/hers measurements and analyses - Document his/hers work in formal reports - Ensure that information regarding tests is given only to people and organizations approved by the customer. Din bakgrund Requirements: M.Sc in mechanical engineering or B.Sc with 5 years experience in related field.Can fluently communicate in English and Swedish, both in speech and in written.French is a plus.
