Main responsibilities

As a Package Design & Engineering Expert
you will;

-Be part of an agile cross-functional team to put new packages on the market, or support our existing packages in the field when problems occur or improvements shall be implemented
-Coordinate and perform package verification and validation activities, this to a great extent out on supplier and customer sites (25-50% of working time)
-Analyze package performance and functionality
-Participate in root cause investigations and riskassessments

Qualifications

For this position we believe that you have a Master's degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical engineering or chemical engineering.

You use your understanding of science and engineering and technical leadership abilities to solve technical problems, lead and execute engineering tasks.

You are a strong collaborator, enjoying teamwork and working across functions and disciplines to solve common tasks.

You preferably hold knowledge in machine material interaction, an understanding of package value chain and are familiar with hands on quality assurance and control work.

Field support at our customers will be an important part of the job; therefore ability to use a systematic and effective approach in problem solving is critical.

Fluency in English, written and verbal.
