Job Summary
Package development is a key area within Tetra Pak. At Package Solutions in Tetra Pak’s Development & Technology organisation we develop new packages, materials, openings and closures for our customers’ current and future needs. We cover all development steps from identification of needs to validating the end product.

The positions will be located in Lund, Sweden. Some travelling is required.
What you will do
Your main task will be to contribute to development of new package. This means working with new concepts, new sustainable materials, new shapes, sizes, functionalities, and manufacturing with a focus on quality.
As our new colleague, you will:
Drive development of materials and package solutions in product development activities close to market and in studies.
Be part of a cross-functional Scrum team and work closely with labs and specialists.
Independently, as well with your technical team, build knowledge, solve problems, and verify solutions.

We believe you have
Educational background with a Master of Science within Mechanical, - Design,- Materials or Chemical engineering
Some years of working experience, preferably within material or packaging development
A genuine interest in package and product development
Very good command of English, both written and verbal is a must
Experience from working in an agile way is considered a plus.

You drive for results and have the ability to deliver on time and under pressure. We believe that you are a clear communicator and good at building effective relationships with others.
Furthermore, you can adjust to the situation and comfortably handle risk and uncertainty. In addition, you have the interest and ability to handle the big picture in deliverables at the same time as being interested in technical details.
