The Development & Engineering unit within Tetra Pak is now looking for a Package Engineer who will be a key player in our prioritised projects with focus on the Package competence area.
We can offer you a creative, stimulating and international work environment at the Carton Economy Platform in Lund.
Our department is responsible for building new customer and consumer base in the developing and emerging markets with low purchase power.The Carton Economy Platform is one of the growth engines within the Tetra Pak group and has enjoyed a double digit growth during the last years thanks to effective product innovation and deployment.
As a Package Engineer you will act as a Technical Project Manager in prioritised technical development projects responsible for Primary & Secondary package activities.You will be the activity driver with the technical competence and always secure that the customer's requirement are understood and that the product meet them.
You will:
-Build and share package verifications and validation competence
-Plan, drive, report and communicate connected to different package activities
-Co-ordinate internal as well as external resources
-Risk Management
-Plan, drive, report, communicate and follow up package activities
-Co-ordinate internal and external resources
-Plan and control budget and expenses
-Build and share package test and validation competence
Kvalifikationer
The successful candidate has strong drive, is result oriented, analytical and structured with a practical approach to problem solving and in cooperation abilities with colleagues.Your English need to be fluent in both written and verbal and have good communication skills.Six sigma and PMP-experience is of course seen as an advantage.
You have an academic degree preferable in Engineering or Science and have at least 2-5 years documented experience from Product Development.The position involves some travelling to our interesting markets (approximately 30 days/year).
