Development & Engineering The D&E unit develops and produces packaging systems and distribution solutions for liquid food.The unit is part of the Tetra Pak Group which has a global coverage and key product development centres in Modena, Italy, Lund, Sweden, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.In Modena, Lund, and Minneapolis we provide product innovation and industrialization of packaging systems and distribution solutions including world class expertise in key competence areas as well as in raw material converting processes and equipment to our customers all around the world. The Carton Economy Platform is responsible for Development and Engineering of a product portfolio, with the strategic intention of enabling Tetra Pak to build new customer and consumer base in the developing and emerging markets with low purchase power.In this respect the product portfolio needs to meet the value chain demands on products produced in simple and robust equipment with a low cost profile targeted to reach mass markets. The Carton Economy Platform is one of the growth engines of Tetra Pak group and has enjoyed a double digit growth during the last 5 years thanks to effective product innovation and deployment. We can offer you a creative, stimulating and international work environment.You will drive Primary & Secondary package activities in the Carton Economy development projects and you are expected to: .Specify, plan, execute, analyze and report package tests .Co-ordinate internal and external resources .Develop test methods and procedures .Plan and control budget and expenses .Build and share package test and validation competence This is a temporary position until September 30, 2008.The successful candidate possesses an academic degree in Engineering or in Science and has preferably experience from Test & Validation work within Tetra Pak.You are result oriented, analytical with a practical approach to problem solving you excel in cooperating with internal and external colleagues.You need to be fluent in English both written and verbal and have good communication skills.The position might require some travelling.
