Development & Engineering The D&E unit develops and produces packaging systems and distribution solutions for liquid food.The unit is part of the Tetra Pak Group which has a global coverage and key product development centres in Modena, Italy, Lund, Sweden, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.In Modena, Lund, and Minneapolis we provide product innovation and industrialization of packaging systems and distribution solutions including world class expertise in key competence areas as well as in raw material converting processes and equipment to our customers all around the world.Do you want to be part of creating & maintain winning packaging solutions?In our diverse and young team that works with primary and secondary package we are responsible for developing and industrialising Carton Bottle packages, including distribution solutions.Moreover we are technical specification owner of Carton Bottle packaging (primary and secondary packaging) throughout the Product Life Cycle.We also drive the overall performance for secondary and primary packaging material. Key tasks & responsibilities for the position are: .Perform package evaluation, focused on secondary package. Optimising the secondary & primary package solutions .Work with new test methods for secondary package.Do calculations (Cape Pack) and simulations for cost optimization together with specification owners..Participate in Tetra Pak network including other platforms and capital equipment for secondary package area .Support our market companies and customer with package performance knowledge and package evaluations including training on site..Contacts with secondary package supplier in Sweden and Europe for test and evaluation of solutions. We would like to see an individual who is proactive and goal oriented.You have strong social/ pedagogical skills and show the ability to work in a flexible way.Strong networking skills is vital to establish contacts both externally and internally in different projects. You should have acquired a combination of a B Sc in engineering or similar and at least some years experience from secondary package, packaging material, specifications or test/simulation.This has given you a good understanding about package demands both in technical and commercial perspective.It is a strong advantage if you have previous experience from working with secondary package and/or package evaluation.You will be working in an international environment so you must be proficient in English, both verbal and written.
