Packaging Director/Förpackningschef

We are offering a very exiting role as Packaging Director in Falkenberg. You are reporting to Senior Production Director and you are part of Production management team and Integrated Supply Chain Sweden Management Team. As Packaging Director you are proven senior leader with end to end view, you act as a leadership role model in packaging department and across the site: ensuring GLOCAL compliance (Global/Local compliance) for quality, food safety, hygiene, HSE (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, ISO 45001, ISO 14001) and GMP standards. As Packaging Director you are systematically passing through PDCA cycle in any topic. You are responsible for people development (individual and teams), process compliance/development, equipment management, service and cost. You are ensuring effective and efficient Performance Management System (PMS), you are keen to understand and eradicate all kind of departmental losses, you are ensuring advance analytics are embedded in department and link it efficiently with reporting systems. You advance in Continues development/Lean TPM methodology and you ensure that it is implemented, stirred and incorporated in day to day operations ensuring continues improvement in all areas (4M -man, machine, methodology, material). As a senior leader you will be involved in site Long Term Development Plan Process. The position is a permanent full-time employment with location Falkenberg.

Other important responsibly areas:
Planning, managing and delivering financial budget for the department (CapEx and OpEx) based on planned KPIs improvements and departmental activities linked to Policy Deployment.
Identifying and delivering systems and operational improvements, cost savings, in the department based on eradication identified losses by promoting and implementing Lean TPM principals and driving change management.
Ensuring implementation and sharing of best practices within the site and with group counterparts.
Building High Performance Organization via driving people engagement and people development ensuring strong visibility of alignment, accountability and action concepts in the department.
Actively contributing to the development of site strategy as part of the site senior management team

What do we wish from you?
You have minimum university degree in Engineering or technical equivalent (e.g. food technology, biotechnology, chemical engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, industrial management) at least 5 years’ experience within FMCG production environment at least 3 years at senior management level. You have proven experience in developing people and plant, managing budgets and delivering performance improvements through Lean TPM methodology. If you are the right person for this position you are fluent (both written and spoken) in English.
As a person you are a team player with great cross-team interacting and communication skills. We think that you have a big business acumen and a result-oriented way of working. You are a great leader with passion for developing and empowering people as well as driving and managing change.
