Support to Marketed OTC and Medical Device Products EMEA

We are building a new team and are looking for two Packaging Engineers who will be working in a global environment with packaging development projects related to our existing pharmaceutical products. In this role you will act as our technical interface with our supplier as well as with our external partners on all packaging related questions. You will qualify packaging according to quality and compliance standards and you will, together with Operations, ensure the manufacturability of the packaging. Your responsibilities also include identifying and delivering cost improvement programs, proposing and executing complexity reduction projects and identifying and promoting cross-consumer sector opportunities. You will be working closely with R & D, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, Procurement as well as with our Project Managegement Organization.

Qualification:

We are looking for a person with the following experience and qualification:

. BSc or MSc within a relevant area.

. A minimum of 5 years experience from packaging development preferably from the pharmaceutical, medical device or animal health industry.

. It is a great advantage to have knowledge/experience of:

- Pharmaceutical compliance and regulatory requirements

- Pharmaceutical packaging technology and process knowledge for primary and secondary

- Medical Device development process and regulations

- Printing technologies

- Design Control

- 6 Sigma and process excellence methodologies

- Packaging testing knowledge.

. You have a good understanding of the dynamics of Supply Chain.

. You master English in speech and writing.

On a personal level, you have excellent communications skills. You have the ability to work in a high matrix environment. You are self-motivated and you have the ability to plan and execute activities with minimal supervision. You strive to deliver results. We place great emphasis on personal qualities for this role.
