Scania Supply Chain Networks, OI, is a function within Production & Logistics. Our ambition is to become the leader within sustainable logistics and our mission is to globally develop, manage and optimize our logistical flows by building flows with minimal environmental impact, high quality and minimal total logistic cost.
OIP is the department within OI that has the central responsibility for the Packaging Process within Scania. We are a team of positive and ambitious individuals with mixed experience within logistics from Scania and outside of Scania. We have a high focus and ambition regarding sustainability and digitalization.
We are now looking for a new operational support and developer within packaging to join our organization at OIPC.
OIPC – Packaging Distribution and Control
Packaging Distribution and Control is responsible for the operational part of packaging process and supplier development. Such as Packaging order planning, Packaging transport planning and Replenishment of new packaging material. We are now facing an exciting and important development step aiming to get full control of Scania’s Packaging Processes and Network, which will save cost and lower the environmental impact.
• Replenishment of new packaging material
• Coordinate packaging network balance
• Coordinate the department's forecast and budget
• Packaging order planning
• Planning packaging orders to Scania suppliers
• Packaging transport planning
• Transport bookings of packaging orders
Job description
As a member of OIP you will be a key player in taking Packaging logistics towards a more efficient and controlled process. You will work with identifying, initiating, developing and improvement both cross functional and internal. You will have a high focus on environmental and cost impact.
The role Packaging Replenishment Planner includes replenishment of packaging material and see that there is an right amount of available packaging material in the network for Scania part suppliers. A daily contact with manufacturer of the packaging material and follow up both transports and invoice status. Coordinate the department's forecast / budget process including follow-up
Your profile
We believe that you have an University degree within logistics or similar. You have work experience from handling problem solving tasks, with 2-5 years’ experience. Since we work with analysing a lot of data we see that you are skilled within Power Bi, Excel or similar analytic tools. You have experience from working within logistics and/or packaging as well.
You are a positive, driven and communicative person with talent for connecting with people as you will work in a cross functional environment. You easily see the big picture, understand the details, see new opportunities and take initiatives for improvements. A very good level of written and spoken Swedish and English is a requirement.
