Are you educated in product development, chemistry, polymer science, chemical engineering and want to make your mark in addressing the sustainability of consumer products. We are now looking for a curious and driven Packaging Specialist who wants to be part of our continued journey within development of sustainable plastic products.

Your weekday
As a Packaging Specialist within the New Product Development team (NPD), you will collaborate with other members of both NPD, production, quality and sales. Your main responsibility is to, together with your experienced colleagues, lead technical development projects for our products and support customers in technical issues and questions regarding existing products.

 The role will need you to:


• coordinate and carry out tests and quality analyzes of packaging in collaboration with production
• analyze test results and develop technical reports and presentations
• keep your colleagues up to date on developments and communicate and discuss plans, problems and solutions in the various projects
• create new product specifications and technical information related to the product program
• have continuous customer contact to understand and learn about the customer's needs but also to update customers on developments

The position is located in Lidköping, Sweden and you report to the Product Development Director who is based in London, England. You are part of a team with 12 colleagues who are spread across three locations globally, two of these colleagues are located in Lidköping, Sweden.

 Who are we looking for?
You have a technical university education and some years of experience of plastic processing in a technical environment, for example in product development or operations. If you also have knowledge of preform and bottle development as well as knowledge of the market and the supply chain for PET and rPET, it is a big plus. You speak and write English fluently and handle Swedish at conversational level.

As a person, you are self-driven but unpretentious. You have a great technical interest, thrive in challenging situations and are a critical problem solver with an eye for detail. You have the ability to easily explain complex technical issues. You are curious and driven by improvements, you are committed and have a learning approach to your surroundings, both to learn and to teach. You are confident in yourself and dare to make decisions even when you do not have all the information available.
