Packaging Specialist to AkzoNobel in Malmö

AkzoNobel Decorative Coatings, the world's largest paint producer, with the Nordic brands Nordsjö, Sadolin, Cuprinol, Pinotex, Polyfilla and Hammerite, develop, produce, distribute and sell paint, varnish and filler products to professionals and consumers. We are a Nordic organization with headquarters in Sege/Malmö in Sweden. In Sweden, we have approximately 300 employees at our office and production site in Sege/Malmö and another 200 in our Nordsjö Idé & Design stores and regional offices around the country.

We are looking for a Packaging Specialist to Akzo Nobel Decorative Coatings - Integrated Supply Chain in Sege, Malmö.

Responsibilities
- Technical specialist for all types of packaging including labels for the products produced by Integrated Supply Chain at the Sege site.
- Participate in new product introduction projects and lead implementation of the packaging and label part of new items in production.
- Administrative work regarding master data in SAP and art work data for packaging and labels.
- Trouble shooting and optimization of filling lines in production.
- Inbound and outbound complaint handling.
- Participate or lead packaging related projects.
- Process improvement in cooperation with the Technical Department, operators and central AkzoNobel functions.
- Execute training sessions.

Requirements
- University degree, minimum B. Sc in Mechanical / Material Engineering or similar.
- Minumum 2-5 years relevant work experience.
- Experience from the packaging industry is an advantage as well as experience from SAP.

To be successful in this position you should be an excellent communicator, both within the organization and to suppliers. Your personality is based on engagement, flexibility and responsibility. You are able to work independently and to be forward thinking. You have a good knowledge in both Swedish and English, written and spoken. Knowledge in French is an advantage.
