Connecting Europe for a Sustainable Future
At Stena Line, we believe everything is connected. By bringing people and goods together, we enable businesses and societies to grow. As a company, we are on an exciting journey driven by technology and new digital habits, developing our business to create outcomes that matter to our customers. Our goal is to deliver seamless customer experiences in more relevant, accessible and sustainable ways. At Stena Line's Digital Transformation department, we are driving change by aligning people, processes and technologies across our company. If you want to be part of building something and truly make a mark that matters, this is excellent opportunity!

What will you do?
As Paid Traffic Specialist you will be responsible for parts of our paid traffic, which is the always-on campaigns such as inbound search and retargeting campaigns. Your primary responsibility will be to optimize search engine marketing campaigns as well as to develop our various retargeting tactics on the Facebook and Google marketing platforms. You will be working closely with marketers in commercial teams, analysts and developers. Creative presentation is a very important part of digital marketing optimization and you will have full support from marketers in creating effective and appealing creatives. This means that you don’t have to be a designer, but it is important that you can clearly communicate your ideas and requirements. You are also expected to contribute your expertise to assist commercial teams in the set up and optimization of planned campaigns; in some regions this might include working with agencies. You will also support commercial teams in maximizing the utilization of the digital paid marketing channels to increase ROI.

Some of your key responsibilities:

• Optimizing our SEM performance, including everything from developing our tactics and hands-on optimization to challenging our agencies to optimize results
• Optimizing retargeting tactics across paid marketing channels such as Facebook Ads and Google Marketing Platform with the goal of improving ROI. This includes hands on optimization as well as collaborating with internal marketers and agencies
• Coach colleagues and stakeholders in how to optimize the use of paid digital marketing channels
• Test and evaluate new paid digital marketing channels as the area develops. It’s your mission to ensure that we are always on top of the game when it comes to innovations within your area of expertise
• Be responsible for tracking, optimizing and reporting on relevant KPIs

• Be a key player in the implementation of our Omnichannel Marketing and Customer Experience Strategy
• Contribute as a thought-leading, subject matter expert and customer advocate in cross-functional teams

Who are you?
At Stena Line your personality matters as much as how good you are at what you do. We are looking for someone with a real passion for this area, with the aim to always improve and optimize, optimize, optimize. You are thorough with strong organizational skills. You are true team-player, always happy to share and coach colleagues in your area of expertise. Words such as remarketing lists, audience segmentation and campaign objectives give you a warm fuzzy feeling and you have strong communication skills.  We believe that you’ve worked with performance marketing for at least 3-5 years, probably at an agency but possibly in-house for a large company. Perhaps you relish the opportunity of moving from setting up new campaigns repeatedly to focusing on optimizing your campaigns to make them the best they can be.

The must-haves:

• At least 3 years’ experience in performance marketing, including SEM, display and paid social media marketing
• Comfortable working hands on in Google Ads, Facebook Ads and Google marketing platform
• Strong understanding of data-driven methodology to improve ROI in performance marketing, including knowledge of AB and controlled-testing
• Experience working with advanced performance marketing tactics
• Good understanding of personalization and individualization in digital marketing
• Fluent in English, written and spoken

If you have previous experience from the travel or e-commerce industry or have designer skills with the ability to create creatives within our brand guidelines, that’s all a big plus!
