Job Purpose:
Develop and maintain quality standards for products and processes.
Provide statistical information for quality improvement by gathering data
on trends and root cause analysis.
Key Responsibilites:
· Assess quality performance and prepare reports using statistical and analytical methods
· Improve various methods and procedures for inspecting and testing and evaluating the precision, reliability and accuracy of products.
· Perform internal audits of the quality system
· Improve quality systems and procedures
· Ensure that project and/or process control documentation is compliant with requirements and/or contract
· Improve programs to improve supplier performance and perform in-house/supplier audits and surveys
· Prepare reports by collecting, interpreting, analyzing and summarizing data and making recommendations
· Analyze proposed changes in methods and materials.
· Apply continuous improvement and key lean manufacturing/production principles and techniques to critical areas of production
· Support the application of specialized quality knowledge within the production process, i.e., Production Approval Process (PPAP), Advanced Product Quality Process (APQP), and document control
· Make quality-related customer and vendor visits and contacts as required
· Represent Parker by interfacing with customers, assisting with internal and external audits
· Manage the correct treatment of customer complaints
Qualifications Skills & Experience Required:
Degree in Technical Engineering or in related subject
Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 standard
Experience with supplier development
Knowledge of welding processes would be considered as an asset
Influencing and structured problem-solving skills
Creative, innovative and challenging thinking with the ability to drive changes
Speak fluent Swedish and English
