Stoneridge Electronics is now looking for a part-time Environmental Coordinator to the Stockholm office, to lead and coordinate Stoneridge’s environmental work in Stockholm. With great opportunities to make this role full time after finishing your studies.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As Environmental Coordinator, you will support and coordinate the environmental activities at the Stockholm Site in the Product Development (PD) processes and make sure that Stoneridge is working according to the Environmental standards for the industry. In this role you will propose and follow up environmental targets and participate in the strategic environmental work within PD.

You will be part of developing the environmental design of Stoneridge’s products, and work with other environmental aspects at Stoneridge, and make sure the materials and chemicals are handled correctly. As Environmental Coordinator you will see the whole production chain, the design of the products and work closely with development, engineering as well as other departments

For you, who thrives in a fast paced, ever changing environment you will have major opportunities to grow, develop your knowledge and shape the role based on your drive and interests within the environmental area. You are expected to work around 2 days a week, but this will vary, depending on the workload and your study schedule.

Amongst other things you will also:


* Review environmental, legal and customer requirements at least annually
* Be updated on environmental legislations and regulations
* Together with the PV manager yearly review that the cabinet for chemicals is in order, and that safety data sheets are accurate
* Support PF managers and process owners in ISO 14001 issues
* Be member of Stockholm Facility Committee
* Educate and support employees within PF (Stockholm) in environmental requirements
* Support Environmental Coordinators in other manufacturing and design sites in education activities
* Review and update the PD Environmental Aspect analysis and Stakeholder analysis annually

* Have at least 1 year left of your studies
* Studies a technical education in the relevant field
* Very good English skills, both oral and written, since this is the company language, and you will be working with stakeholders and collegues from all over the world


It is an advantage if you:


* Previous experience within production or experience from woorking within a technical role/company
* Studies a B.Sc. or M.Sc in engineering or the environmenal area
* Are able to communicate in Swedish

* Start: According to agreement
* Contract: 6 months of fixed term employment, 2-3 days per week- approximately 30-40%
* Location: Stockholm, Solna
