Job Description
We invite you to bring your analytical ability and business acumen into play as you contribute to the long-term development of Ramboll Sweden. To succeed in this role, you must have a keen interest in corporate strategy and M&A and be motivated by being part of positioning a business for the future. You are probably towards the end of your studies, either at Master’s level or at the end of the Bachelor programme, at a leading business or engineering school. The position is part time equivalent to ~2 days a week at your convenience during the academic year with possibility to work full-time during summer 2023. Expected starting time is in early September with allowance for time off in connection with exam periods. You will be based in our office at Krukmakargatan 21 in Stockholm (metro Mariatorget). You will join our strategy and M&A department
As our new Strategy and M&A intern you will be part of the Strategy and M&A team of Ramboll Sweden and be working closely with the Swedish management team. We have just launched a new strategy focusing on Sustainability. Ramboll Sweden has an ambition to significantly grow the business and to establish ourselves as a partner for sustainable change. This will be achieved through a combination of entering new market segments, launching of new products and services, acquisitions as well as re-invention of our operational practices. The strategy team is an integral part of making this happen and as an intern you will be exposed to all aspects of the strategy process including strategy formulation and translation of this into targets, business plans and strategic initiatives. You will also be involved in M&A analysis and where applicable follow the full deal cycle from acquisition evaluation all the way to transaction closing and integration.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:


Conduct competitor and market intelligence analysis to be presented to the Swedish leadership team
Support strategic initiatives through development, launch and targets realisation phases
Assist with market and company analysis in connection with acquisition projects, evaluation of performance of acquired businesses and tracking of status of integration activities
Tracking and follow up on the progress of already approved strategic initiatives

A student in Finance/Financial Management/Economics/Business/Industrial Engineering at master's level or towards the end of the Bachelor programme
Possess a keen interest in working with corporate development, strategy and M&A
Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English
Demonstrated personal drive through previous work engagements or positions of responsibility within e.g. sports or student association. Previous work experience of similar type of jobs is advantageous but not mandatory
