Your future team
EPS (Enterprise and Partner Solutions) department within Axis SW R&D contains about 80 engineers, organized as five line organizations.

EPS department is responsible for developing common services, system management tools, APIs and ACAP/application SDKs as an extension to our devices, to enable partners to manage fleets of cameras and devices when they are connected, to build connected services, computer vision applications and innovations, also to ensure that the devices, when in a connected mode, are configured and used in a cyber-secure manner.

EPS' Services and APIs range from mature products which have been on the market for many years to new services and APIs that have started to be used by several partners and scale up very quickly.

Your role
To make sure that partners have and receive everything they need from Axis to be successful, we establish the partner advocate role to worked closely and iteratively with partners.

As a Partner Advocate, you will, together with a Partner Project Manager to:

* Understand what the various partners needs are both in the long and short term.
* Express and articulate those needs to respective Product Owners and Program Managers so they can take ownership of strategic planning and execution.
* ​Ensure that our partners get the help they need to move forward in their development, for example, delivering tutorials, creating examples or demoing the solutions, etc.
* Use your creativity to build excitement around Axis connected services offering.

The role has the possibility, at times, to visit partners and customers.

Who you are

* You have software development experience. Being familiar with both cloud and device software would be a plus! With your knowledge, you should be able to write examples such as ACAP and demo to partners.
* You are solid communicator with experience writing about, teaching or speaking about technical topics to a variety of audiences.
* Eager to learn, ability to understand and concisely convey complex concepts.
* Have energy and drive to move things forward and succeed, but still you are humble and easy to interact with.
* You are curious to understand the big picture and contribute to the big picture.
