PARTNER ENGINEER Axis ADP (Application Development Partner) Program started in year 2001 and today include almost 500 companies from 44 countries. The ADP team build relations to and support companies that are integrating Axis video products into their own software applications or solutions. We are now looking for a new Partner Engineer for this well established and growing partner program. In the role you will be working with our partners globally to support their product development and act as a link to our R&D organization. You will also support our sales offices in their relations to the local partners and assist in events around the globe. Your main challenges will be to handle support cases, produce technical documents, to present on Axis training events for partners and in other ways develop relations to our more important partners. The Partner Engineer has the following responsibilities: ¤Handling support cases, normally of a high complexity ¤Test and verify partners problems and setup test environments ¤Work with R&D in prioritizing and solving difficult support cases ¤Work as a bridge between partners and development engineers ¤Be involved in the product and component development ¤Document new functionality and features from a development perspective ¤Be proactive by writing technical notes and FAQs for support questions ¤Create training materials around new functions and features and running trainings either live or using our distance learning system ¤Build relationships to partners on tradeshows and other events Required skills: ¤Ability to structure, plan and organize ¤Personal drive and ability to implement ¤Good communication skills, both verbal and written ¤Experience of Linux and C programming ¤Extensive experience of TCP/IP networks ¤Knowledge in network protocols in upper layers (such as RTP, RTSP etc.) is an advantage ¤Experience in MS Visual Studio is an advantage Knowledge in computer software ¤Experience with working in development projects and creating training material ¤Service minded attitude and ability to work in a fast changing market and organization ¤Fluent in English, other languages are a plus ¤Be prepared to travel Join the global market leader in network video!
