The Technical Partner Manager will own partner success from a technical perspective. As Ericsson continues to advance its industry leading IoT Accelerator platform offering, the success of its partners is paramount. To drive customer success broadly, Ericsson partners need to be ready as it relates to the platform, cloud technologies, including development and delivery principles and go to market channels.
The purpose of the job role is to handle Product Strategy as is applies to partners and partner business development. Exceeding expectations from the market and improving profitability when appropriate, considering dependencies and prioritizations within Ericsson.
Typical measurement: Revenue generated per partner, #SIM Connected per partner, #hours of training a partner consumes
As a Technical Partner Manager, You Will
Scout, Identify and drive partner business development to find partners who can drive growth for our business and cellular IoT.

This comes in many shapes and forms – leading workshops, hosting meetings, executive alignment, conceptualization, value creation – this is a collaboration, but you are expected to drive some of these activities and seek support from others in other.
As the front line towards partners you are encouraged to feel comfortable while communicating Ericsson Strategy in IoT and our platforms as an evangelist. As partnerships matures you should involve sales and as it becomes stable hand the partner over to the operator who will be able to drive growth for IoT Accelerator and future IoT offerings.
A certain amount of creativity to identify new and innovative engagements with, through and by our partners is also required.

About You
We are a small team where we work side by side to drive success – everyone is encouraged to give and ask for support continuously. I hope that you have some technical experience from working with devices, embedded software and cellular technologies from a device point of view. Typical roles could be lead developer, technical presales or technical business developer.
We work in an international setting and proficient English is expected and additional languages are a plus.
As working with partners are an outbound activity you are comfortable in presenting and reaching out and leading multiple contacts. We are not selling in the commercial sense – but we are signing partnerships that drives big business impact. As the partnership progresses from idea to execution it is important that you can lead projects and ensure that tasks are done on time to drive the partnership forward
I am looking for a positive person with a can-do demeanor – noting is impossible – just hard, and that’s the lively part. As our future plays out, we might have to change direction and anchor decisions with new partners internally and externally. To be successful in a large organization we believe we should understand the decision dynamics (just like the customer).
