Arbetsbeskrivning
As digitalization and automation sweeps through the manufacturing industry, we’re not just aiming to keep our groundbreaking position in digital solutions within metal cutting, we’re raising the bar even higher! At Sandvik Coromant, we push boundaries and test limits to figure out what’s possible to achieve, and we’re now looking for a self-motivated and communicative Partner Manager with a commercial mindset, to join our competent and driven Advanced Planning team. This is a temporary position for approximately one year – an excellent opportunity to learn more about this field and develop personally. Let’s shape the future together!
Your mission
In this strategically crucial role, you initiate and take care of our partnerships and ensure good integration between our and our partner’s solutions – which means lots of freedom to impact and innovate, but also a big responsibility to make things happen.
You take the responsibility for relations and communication with strategic business partners globally – selected to put us in the best possible position. You handle the commercial tactics, ensuring revenue, and taking responsibility for partner solutions sold in our channels, and as we’ll have multiple competing partners, you’re well aware of, and manage the risks involved. You also make sure that our Advanced Planning solutions are commercially viable and technically integrated with partner solutions, by setting specifications and requirements towards our development department, as well as other internal stakeholders such as, product managers, legal, supply, finance and purchasing.
This position gives you the flexibility to choose your own working location within a time zone corresponding to Sweden, although some physical presence at our offices in Sandviken or Stockholm is preferred. Occasional travel is included in the role.
Your profile
We think you have a background within sales, product management, purchasing or similar relevant field, where you’ve gained suitable experience and confidence for this role, while still being eager to develop yourself and experiment with new ways of working – knowledge which you gladly share. You have a relevant degree in your backpack – or even better, a master’s or an MBA. As we act on an international stage, solid written and spoken English is necessary, while Swedish or other languages could come in handy.
Although your hard skills are important, your personality is key in this role. As you already might have suspected, a good business sense, strong drive and an entrepreneurial spirit is important to really thrive here, and you feel empowered when you get to build, grow and develop. With your strategic mindset, you’re clear about what’s ahead and needs to be done, and you know which partners we need to approach to reach our goals. As an excellent relation-builder and a good communicator, you also know how to connect and gain trust from the partners, as well as customers and internal stakeholders.
Our culture
Innovation is in our DNA and we are proud to shape the future of manufacturing in close collaboration with our customers and partners. We believe in an inclusive, equal and open-minded culture, and we nurture our diversities to form a solid foundation for achieving great results. Add fair and rewarding benefits, as well as many different career options. Are you intrigued? Visit our website, LinkedIn or Facebook page to get to know us further.
