Inter IKEA Sustainability will lead the strategic sustainability direction, stakeholder engagement and sustainability development for Retail Concept. Strategic sustainability topics, engagement, partnerships, the sustainability report and other assignments will be led on behalf of the totality from Supply and Range.
We are now looking for two Partnership and Engagement Leaders who will be part of the team responsible for securing alignment on strategic sustainability content related to IKEA's Sustainability strategy and establishing strategic partnerships and engagements across key sustainability topics. The assignment of the team is also to develop and deliver the IKEA Sustainability Report and other theme-based reports and be a partner for upcoming new reporting demands. The team is responsible for the Inter IKEA Sustainability Engagement plan.
Job Description
To be successful in this role we believe that you are able to:
Contribute to develop a portfolio of sustainability partnerships across IKEA sustainability topics to support the implementation of the IKEA Sustainability strategy. Monitor and evaluate the impact of sustainability partnership, and continually improve approaches
Stay up to date on emerging sustainability trends and developments including new initiatives, advocacy, and other events that IKEA may wish to support, sharing knowledge and insights with colleagues and internal stakeholders
Work collaboratively with the Partnership & Engagement team and other relevant stakeholders to develop and implement the yearly plan for Inter IKEA sustainability engagement, including:
organising stakeholder meetings, bigger events, seminars, and other outreach activities
supporting IKEA spokespersons (together with business owners, communications, and press office) with key messages and speaking points
supporting the business to further develop partnerships and integrate sustainability partnership and engagement initiatives into business processes and operations
Being one of the key contacts for relevant stakeholders, partners and networking activities, cultivating, and managing relationships
Develop common standpoints, messages, narratives, and strategic proof points together with Strategic Topic leaders, contributing to a holistic and interconnected approach. Focusing on external stakeholders as target audience.
One leader in the team will project lead the IKEA Sustainability Report and other theme-based reports

This is a permanent position based in Älmhult, Sweden.
