Parts Engineer

Global Parts Engineering is now looking for:
Parts Engineer

The department is responsible for development of a spare part offering for all Volvo CE products. We also follow up the spare part offering and adjust it according to ECNs (Engineering Change Notes) released by product development departments or according to information from external suppliers. The work is global and we have frequent contacts with people in other countries.

Main Tasks
- Create a technical and commercial selection of spare parts for all Volvo CE products
- Represent Parts Engineering and our requirements in machine projects
- Create aftermarket kits to support in repairs and renovations
- Together with external suppliers create spare parts offering for purchased components
- Maintain the spare part offering according to ECNs
- Update part numbers in our aftermarket systems
- Support regions and other internal customers in spare part issues

Qualifications:
- Great technical knowledge in mechanical engineering from working experience or corresponding from an university degree
- Experience in working with technical documentation and drawings
- Great experience of computer work
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English. Other languages are a merit
- Experience from the aftermarket business is a merit
- Fieldwork in construction equipment is a merit

You are a part of a group but will have individual responsibility within your specific area. Structure is essential since the work you do must be traceable.
