Volvo Cars is on an ambitious journey when it comes to electrification, aiming for 50% of global sales to be pure electrified by 2025. To ensure we can achieve and sustain a strong position in the market as an electrified OEM, it is critical to have a solid set up for how to handle aftermarket challenges. 
Car Service Operations have implemented Battery Centers in each region to secure battery pack replacement supply for the aftermarket as well as fulfilling Volvo Cars strategy for electric vehicle batteries post 1st life. Our ART Battery Life Cycle Service purpose is to ensure hassle free usage for consumers by creating maximum value throughout the Battery lifecycle. 
Battery Lifecycle Services manage analysis, repair/remanufacture and storage as well as build BEV and PHEV battery packs for re-use in vehicles. Our activities include Repurposing (BESS) applications, battery take back of severely damaged batteries and logistic solutions.
We are looking for a skilled Parts Specialist to create/maintain and follow up Build Of Material List (BOM) for high voltage batteries within our ART Battery Lifecycle Services.

What you will do
Your daily work will consist of following:
•    Will maintain and update the Bill Of Material list for our High Voltage Battery projects.
•    Will follow up any Change Orders for the High Voltage Battery parts.
•    Will request to register new parts when required.
•    Will create the cost estimation for our High Voltage Battery products.

You and your skills
You have a university degree or working experience in relevant field.
You have technical knowledge both in general and vehicle specific as well as experience from Bill of Material (BOM), Product Change Management and/or Cost Estimation. 
It is meritorious to have experience from projects, related to high voltage vehicles/batteries.
Experience in using VIDA, TIE, VCATS, DSA, KDP, Team Center or similar systems and experience from Agile way of working are also meritorious.
Fluency in spoken and written English is required.

A sense for good logic and structured way of working will be important in this role, as well as a high ability to work cross-functionally, in teams or individually. 
You need to have good communication skills, and a personal eagerness to investigate, learn and drive for change to be able to accomplish results. You have a drive and passion for continuous improvements in your daily work.
