Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Do you want to join an experienced team that is developing Scania’s new methods, tools and processes to support our retail network & business units to be more efficient and profitable in the parts & warehouse business.
We are now in an intensive and exciting period as part of the digital transformation journey. By digitalizing our products and processes we are challenging how we can develop & implement our parts & warehouse IT solutions in an efficient and quick manner. This in order to further improve the parts business growth, and increase administrative efficiency, but also to be able to enhance new parts-related business opportunities.
The workshop and Contracts department is now looking for a new team member with a focus on developing our parts & warehouse solutions in close cooperation with our distributors, retail network and within our internal departments through e.g. Product Owners and other stakeholders. The platform being used is Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO) and an important part is creating a comprehensive process description and to support business units during implementations. The work will be carried out through cross-functional groups with agile methodology as a base. Acting as a Parts & Warehouse Development Manager you will also be responsible for the processes connected to these services.
Your profile
We are looking for a person with high experience within the parts & warehouse area and from working in our Business Unit/Retail network. In this position, you need to have the ability to develop and challenge our methods, tools, and processes. Experience in system development is highly regarded since there is a lot of collaboration with the system development teams belonging to the same cross-functional group. The implementations are done together with our service network and therefore you need to have good personal skills and the ability to implement both processes and systems. You will be required to act as a trainer for our service network.
In order to feel comfortable within this role, you need to be able to take responsibility, work at the forefront of process development and enjoy the challenge of working with a broad network of people. We believe that you have a wide experience of Scania products, services, and processes. Service market experience is desirable. The fact that you are pedagogical, communicative, structured, and independent is a given for us. The external contacts in our service network require that you are fluent in written and spoken English. Other languages are considered a merit.
Your task
• Be part of the team developing our new parts & warehouse solution in D365FO
• Act as a representative for the parts & warehouse area in cross-functional projects
• Improve the processes and business models related to parts & warehouse
• Create a process descriptions for the parts & warehouse solution and break it down into manageable pieces for the development teams
• Document the current parts & warehouse situation in our markets globally around functionality & integrations.
• Take an active part in leading workshops with our markets
• Support Business Units before, during, and after implementations
• Cooperate with a cross-functional agile working team, the procurement area, and other internal stakeholders.
• Maintain an active dialog with our global reference group
The team
Within Sales & Marketing, we are a team of 12 employees consisting of Contract Development Managers, Service Development Managers, Project Managers, and Business Analyst committed to enhancing the development of the Services- & Contracted business in our network. As a Parts & Warehouse Development Manager, you will be able to work with an experienced team supporting the global services organization to achieve the best possible performance and effective methods. Besides that, you will also be in a group that will highly support you and where you have all the possibilities to broaden your knowledge within the Workshop and Contract area.
