Homologation Department is now looking for an exceptional Homologation Engineer who will be responsible for the Passive Safety regulations and standards. If you are ready for a challenge of a lifetime and be a part of an exciting journey, maybe you are the right person we are looking for!
Your responsibilities will include:

Exceptional understanding of Passive Safety related Regulations and Standards (seating, interior, restraint systems, crash protection) of various Koenigsegg target markets (F/CMVSS, UN-ECE, GB etc.).
- Communicate current and upcoming requirements to related teams.
- Assist related teams with interpreting regulatory requirements, including seeking out interpretations as needed.
- Ability to manage data sets and properly use analysis tools to evaluate occupant injury criteria
- Generate detailed test specifications/reports/analysis which can be easily understandable by internal customers
- Identify and highlight potential risks, initiate resolution, and deliver results

Work with related teams to assist the design reviews, FMEAs and ensure that the Koenigsegg products are designed to meet global requirements.
- Participate in new model reviews to provide feedback.
- Support related teams on Passive Safety test methods, plan, and processes.
- Create test plans and execute tests for on time completion.
- Be able to interpret crash scenarios, identity concerns and work with design engineers for corrective actions.
- Monitor running changes and update type approval/certificates if necessary.

Ensure on-time completion of Test Reports, Test Procedures, and Test Plans.

Able to determine Worst case scenarios and able to discuss/convince Authorities.

Able to determine applicable test configurations for worst case scenarios, project detailed test plans and assist in scheduling certification tests.

Be ready to technically challenge and to be challenged while executing abovementioned tasks.
Need to have
- Min BSc. in Mechanical/Aerospace/Bio Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Passive Safety testing.
- Solid experience with full crash testing, sled testing and sub-system component level testing.
- Coordinate with external test labs on objectives, scheduling, budgets, quality, and deliverables for passive safety related testing.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal / written)
- Able to work independently and within a team, including prototype team.
- Excellent analytical skills relative to determining the crash interaction between components, structure, package, and occupants and the system design concepts necessary to achieve optimum crash performance.
- Ability to analyze test data using available tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication to build relationships across the Koenigsegg organization as well as with authorities and test labs.
- Effectively handle multitasking, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
