Patent Engineer

We are looking for a Patent Engineer to our IPR Team in the R&D Department. Axis' products is in the forefront of new technology. Our products are protected by numerous patents and patent applications. With an ever increasing momentum in the IPR area, especially in the USA, we need to make sure our products have the correct protection and in case of disputes that we can handle the cases correctly. Therefor we need a person with technical skills in the Electrical Engineering or Computer Science area with perhaps patent training and law studies as extra curriculum. As a Patent Engineer with Axis you will work independently and interact with inventors in the R&D organization and with external firms both in Sweden and abroad. You will report to the IPR Manager. For this position we believe that you have at least a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or similar with experience in patent work. Legal experience such as understanding business agreements from a legal perspective is considered a merit. You need to be easily motivated with a high energy drive and have the ability to work independently. Very good knowledge in Swedish and English is a must.
