Patent Engineer - Intellectual Property Rights

We are looking for a Patent Engineer to our Intellectual Property Rights Team in the R&D Department. Axis' products are in the forefront of new technology and protected by numerous patents and patent applications. With an ever increasing momentum in the IPR area we need to make sure our products have the good patents. Therefore we need a person with technical skills in the Electrical Engineering or Computer Science area with a background in patent work. As a Patent Engineer with Axis you will work independently in a small team, interacting with inventors in the R&D organization and with external firms both in Sweden and abroad. You will report to the IPR Manager. For this position we believe that you have at least a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or similar, perhaps with patent training as extra curriculum. Experience from work with a legal perspective is considered a merit. You need to be easily motivated with a high-energy drive and have the ability to work independently. Very good knowledge in Swedish and English is a must. Are you up for the challange?
