Patent Research Specialist

Are you experienced with patent database searches and either has experience of or have a big interest in the field of Applied Thermodynamics? The role & responsibilities
Within the company there are three business areas; FoodTech, AirTech and Data Center Technologies. In this new role at Munters you will be a part of the Patent Department being responsible for patents regarding the whole company with placement at the office in Kista. In your work you will perform novelty searches regarding new inventions, freedom to operate searches, invalidation searches and monitoring of competitors’ patent activities and make reporting of the search results.
Your profile
University degree in Applied Thermodynamics, Energy Technology, Applied Physics or other similar education
Experience from the European Patent Office or a national patent office as patent examiner
Other extensive experience from patent database searching
Alternative background: 10+ years of experience in a role as Librarian within technical areas
Fluency in English (spoken and written)
Experience from or willingness to learn the tool PatSnap (patent database)
Some international travelling
