The New Development Function, part of Head Office at H&M, has the purpose to strengthen the H&M brand, drive innovation and explore new opportunities for growth. For example, this is where the H&M Collaboration & Special Collection team can be found.
The purpose of New Development´s Function is to strengthen the H&M brand by charging the red logo, lead the change towards a sustainable fashion future and build meaningful growth. Job Description
As a Patter Maker you will work on Women’s products and collaborate with the Design team and the rest of the product team to create high quality garments. Responsible for creating best fit, size and silhouettes for our target customer and work actively with production to find efficient and sustainable solutions.
This includes driving a clear and relevant size, fit & silhouette strategy for the target customer, and identify, evaluate and act on how materials will affect fit and silhouette. You constantly follow, identify and react on opportunities and risks, based om selling, customer insights, feedback and surrounding analysis together with the team.
You will make first patterns for women products, working from blocks or existing styles. following the products from first sample to production.
Qualifications
Work with Pattern Making today with + 3 years’ experience
Has additional experience tailoring
Has an eye for details and the ability to find solutions to construction problems that gives our pieces a perfect fit and ensure their high quality.
Has experience in Lectra Expert and CLO 3D (or other 3D programs)
Is well organized and can priorities and get things done under pressure and a high workload.
Is a team player and straight forward in your communication - good English skills in both writing and speaking.
As a person you have great energy and drive with an open mind and positive attitude, you take own initiative You are structured and organized. You love to solve problems in a creative and business-oriented way.
