Axel Arigato currently has 8 stores, including London, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Munich & Paris with more pending. Expanding from 2 people to now hiring over 100 members of staff in 7 years, Axel Arigato also operates a subsidiary office in London.

Axel Arigato is offering a position as a Payroll Administrator to join the Finance team at our HQ in Gothenburg. You will join during a time where we are expanding on new markets. We are looking for a person who is highly structured and can handle a broad spectrum of information with attention to detail. It will require you to be flexible, take on challenges and take initiative. It is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be involved in a changing and fast-paced environment.

The payroll administrator's duties include the management of employee data, ensuring the accuracy of timesheets, computing wages, and ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time. As a payroll administrator you will have responsibility for workflows beginning with the registration of new employees and ending with computing holiday payment with the last salary. The role will look after time reporting, payroll, expense reimbursement, pension and other personnel insurance reporting. You will also handle internal management reporting as well as external reporting to authorities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the process of monthly time reporting and payroll for all Axel Arigato Group companies and its employees.
• Responsible for coordinating with outsourced payroll providers for Axel Arigato entities outside Sweden.
• Responsible for administration, control and payment of all employee expenses in the company expense reporting system Skovik
• Responsible for managing the pension and personnel insurance processes for all applicable Axel Arigato employees.
• Responsible for process of accurate and timely registration and maintenance of the employment records.
• Responsible for maintaining and being a “system superuser” for the company time reporting, payroll and expenses system

Requirements

• Degree in business administration, finance, or accounting preferred.
• 2+ years of experience working in a payroll office or relevant field is a must.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of relevant legal regulations.
• Able to prioritize and multitask effectively.
• Experience from Kontek payroll system is preferred.
